From the Teacher:
In math class this week, we will continue a review of all standards taught during the First through Third Nine Weeks. We will focus on number and shape patterns, geometry, and coordinate grids. We will also continue daily math intervention groups. We are doing this in an effort to prepare the students for the ARMT+ test in April. In Grammar this week, we will be reviewing Lessons 21-24 which includes the Verb Be, Main and Helping Verbs, and Present, Past, and Future Tense Verbs. This week we will continue reading and discussing Chapter 1 about Plant Growth and Development in our Science books. For the month of March, we will be reading the book, The Three Questions by Leo Tolstoy and completing activities related to this book. If you have access to the Internet at home, you can research the author to learn more about him and his books.
