® We are still taking our multiplication tests to earn our banana splits. Continue to memorize these at home as we learn them at school. They must make 100 on the timed test to earn parts of their banana splits. We will take tests every Tues., Wed., and Thurs.
® The Sweet Heart Pageant will be Sat., March 3rd.
® Jump Rope For Heart Kick Off February 24, 2012. Money will be due on March 9th.

*Fraction—a number that names a part of a whole or part of a group
*Numerator—the number above the bar in a fraction. It tells how many of the equal parts of the whole are being counted.
*Denominator—the number below the bar in a fraction. It tells the total number of equal parts in the whole or group.
*Equivalent Fractions—two or more fractions that name the same amount.

1. eagerly – If you are waiting eagerly for something, you are excited or anxious

4. collaborate- If you are going to work with others on a project, you are planning
to collaborate with them.
5. fondness – If you like something very much, you have a fondness for it.
6. emotion – An emotion is a feeling, such as happiness.
7. ridiculous- Something that is very silly is ridiculous.
8. disgraceful- If something is disgraceful, it is shocking and not acceptable.
9. decent – Someone who is decent is good and fair.
10. inherit – When you inherit something, you have been given something by someone who used to own it.
