Geometry—Students must be able to identify each of the following:
*line—a straight path extending infinitely in both directions
*point—an exact location in space
*line segment—a part of a line with two endpoints
*ray—a part of a line with one endpoint that continues in one direction
*angle—two rays with a common endpoint
*right angle—an angle that measures 90 degrees
*acute angle—an angle less than 90 degrees
*intersecting lines—lines that cross and form angles
*perpendicular lines—lines that cross to form right angles
*parallel lines—lines that never cross
