From the Teacher:

In math class this week, we will review all of the multiplication and division strategies we have been discussing in class. We will have a test on these strategies on Wednesday of this week. In Grammar this week, we will discuss Pronoun-Antecedent Agreement. This week we will continue our Christmas Around the World unit. We will be learning about a few holiday traditions from the United States, Sweden, Mexico, France, Germany, and Italy. Students received new reading logs for the month of December; these are due this Friday, December 16th. There will only be two full weeks on these reading logs, so we will be expecting a total of 120 minutes of reading for December. The completed December Math Calendars are also due this Friday, December 16th. For the month of December, we will be reading the book, Dear Willie Rudd by Libba Moore Gray and discussing the author’s purpose for writing the story. If you have access to the Internet at home, you can research the author to learn more about her and her books.
