From the Teacher:
In math class this week, we will continue a review of all standards taught during the First through Third Nine Weeks. We will focus on multiplication, division, and equivalent fractions. We will also continue daily math intervention groups. We are doing this in an effort to prepare the students for the ARMT+ test in April. During Language Arts time, we will be preparing the students for the upcoming ARMT test. We will NOT go on to Lesson 26 this week. We do expect the students to learn the 15 words above for the spelling and vocabulary tests this Friday. This week we will read and discuss Chapter 9 in our Communities book which is about spending and saving money. For the month of March, we will be reading the book, The Three Questions by Jon J. Muth (based on a story by Leo Tolstoy) and completing activities related to this book. If you have access to the Internet at home, you can research the author to learn more about him and his books.
